Empowering Innovation, Bridging Opportunities
At The Wilkinson STEM Education Foundation, we believe every learner—no matter their background—deserves access to high-quality STEM opportunities. Explore resources, connect with programs, and discover pathways that inspire, train, and support tomorrow’s innovators.
We're reimagining access to STEM by breaking down systemic barriers and building inclusive, experience-driven pathways. Together, we're shaping underrepresented students into the leaders our future depends on.

Challenging STEM Inequality
We believe in the inherent potential of every learner. Yet across America and around the world, millions are systematically excluded from the transformative opportunities that STEM education provides.
The Current STEM Crisis
Workforce Shortage & National Security Concerns:
A national strategy, specifically targeting historically excluded and underrepresented groups, was unveiled in May 2024 to address this massive shortage.
The White House released a Federal Strategic Plan for Advancing STEM in November 2024, highlighting the urgent need for 20 million new STEM workers.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) isn’t just about equations or experiments—it’s about building curiosity, solving real-world problems, and preparing for the jobs of tomorrow. Aligned with the Federal Strategic Plan, our resources connect you with national programs, nonprofit initiatives, and local opportunities to explore, discover, and innovate.
What We Work On
It is at the intersections of key developmental areas that we believe real transformation is possible. When we simultaneously address financial barriers while providing mentorship, or when we combine teacher training with industry partnerships, we create powerful synergies that amplify impact far beyond what any single program could achieve—and your support makes it possible.

Our Commitment to Diversity
Our core values—including our unwavering commitment to diversity, inclusion, and working directly with the communities we serve—infuse and inform everything we do. We don't just study inequality from a distance; we embed ourselves within underserved communities, listen to those who understand the barriers firsthand, and co-create solutions that reflect their lived experiences and aspirations.
This interconnected, community-centered approach ensures that every program we develop, every partnership we forge, and every learner we serve benefits from the full strength of our comprehensive STEM education ecosystem.
